Ms. Blodgett is a contract and compliance experienced leader with 24 years of managing business agreements within Military & Civil Contracts. She has successfully managed all contractual matters including DoD (FAR, DFARS) and Trade compliance requirements within various industries. Her strong attention to detail and analytical skills have allowed her to identify potential risks and mitigate them effectively, minimizing any potential legal or financial liabilities. Ms. Blodgett is passionate about building strong working relationships through collaboration and is an advocate for every customer/supplier she encounters.
Her professional career began with an entry-level position in the aerospace industry. While at Hamilton Sundstrand, she was an eager learner working as an assistant supporting the administration of the Repair and Overhaul contracts, always seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge and improve her skills. During this time, she demonstrated strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a willingness to take on new challenges. She embraced each task with enthusiasm and was committed to mastering the fundamentals of contracts and compliance. This dedication to continuous learning set a strong foundation for her future growth and success.
As a result of her dedication and hard work, throughout her career Ms. Blodgett earned several promotions to managerial positions with greater responsibility and complexity. These advancements reflected her commitment to excellence and her ability to lead teams effectively, further expanding her responsibilities and influence within each organization. During her tenure with Triumph Engine Control Systems, Kaman Corporation and GKN Aerospace her key responsibilities included:

Overseeing the development, negotiation, and administration of contracts, ensuring all agreements comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Monitoring contract performance to identify and address potential risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing legal or financial liabilities.

In her personal life, Ms. Blodgett enjoys volunteering her time at Summit Adaptive Sports, a local non-profit organization, as well as a local shelter for dogs, spending quality time with her friends and family, gardening to enjoy nature's beauty right at her home in CT and traveling to experience new adventures.
